Valentine's Pail

The project I have to share today is a clear pail that I decorated for Valentine's Day.  I plan to fill it with peanut M&Ms for my sweetie.  Peanut M&Ms are one of his favorite candies.  I put some in his Christmas stocking this year and have gotten in 'trouble' for eating some of them, so I figure I will replenish the stash.  I decided to decorate the pail for a cute way of packaging the candy.

Also, over at Die Cuttin Divas and My Craft Spot this week, the challenges this week is Anything Goes so I'm submitting this project to those challenges.  Thanks for coming by!

The entire length of decorated paper that's inside the pail.

The lid of the pail.

Recipe:
Solid cardstock from Bazzill and Recollections
Patterned cardstock from The Paper Studio and We R Memory Keepers
Love Bug from Simply Charmed cut at 3 inches
Conversation Hearts from Simply Charmed cut at 2.5 inches
Hearts from Plantin Schoolbook cut at 2, 1.75 and 1.25 inches
Scallop circle from Sugar and Spice cut at 5.5 inches
Heart stamps and white embossing powder
Black Sakura gel pen and Glossy Accents
Various ribbons and twine from my stash tied to the handle

  4. What a super tin! It's sure to be a hit - especially when filled with his favourite candies. I laughed that you got in "trouble" for stealing some of the Christmas ones. I do just the same sort of thing!
Thanks so much for playing along with us at My Craft Spot!
