Yappy Birthday

Good evening!  I hope this week is going well for you all.  It's going by fairly quickly for me, which is great because I'm really looking forward to this weekend.  I have a scrap night planned with one of my bf's and we're hoping to get a lot of creating done!!

Today is actually her birthday!  We were able to meet for lunch with her husband and another friend of ours so we could wish her a happy birthday.  And something tells me we may have to celebrate a little more when we get together this weekend!  :)

I'm submitting the birthday card I made for her in this week's challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion.  The challenge this week is Birthday - shape card.  I found another fun shape in the Birthday Bash handbook to use for the card base.  And I've been eyeing this dog image for a while now - I think he's just so cute!  I know my friend is a dog-lover, as she has a sweet little Yorkie of her own, so I decided it was finally time to use this image.  Thanks for coming by and I hope you're all having a wonderful week!
