Male Birthday Card

Happy Friday!  I told you I had a few January birthdays to prepare for!!  This is actually the last January birthday card I needed, so I can finally move on to some other projects.  :-)

I made this card for my grandpa.  I still struggle with birthday cards for guys.  It's so much easier for girls I think - you can get away with fun characters more easily and you can add flowers and bling to your heart's content!  LOL!!  Anyway, here is the card I created for him.

I am going to link this card up to this week's challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion - boy's birthday, must use blue.

Now I'm off to make some Valentine's Day cards that will definitely be much more girly!!

Solid cardstock from Bazzill
Pattern cardstock from DCWV
Frames - Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 8 dies
Rub-on sentiment
Ribbon from American Crafts

  1. Cute, thanks for playing @ Celebrate the Occasion!

  2. I totally agree!!! Love your card though, that's a cute and simple sentiment. Your grandpa will love it!!

  3. Very nice Cas card!
