Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!  I've enjoyed a lot of time crafting recently - including about 11 hours yesterday in honor of National Scrapbook Day!  I know many of you did too and I'm excited to check out your recent posts to see all the new creations!

My first post today is a card I made for my Grandma for Mother's Day.  I've been wanting to use a paper rosette on a card and thought this would be a good time to try it out.  I cut a 1 1/2 x 12 inch strip of paper, border punched one side, then scored the paper every 1/4 inch, zigzag folded it, formed the circle and used hot glue to attach the stamped circle on top to hold everything in place.

Recipe:
Solid Cardstock from Bazzill
Patterned Cardstock from Little Yellow Bicycle
Fiskars Apron Lace border punch
Ribbon from American Crafts
Silver American Crafts Zing embossing powder
Sakura Glaze pens
Sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Happiest Moments set
