Greetings blog world! It's already Thursday evening, which means Friday and the weekend are right around the corner! I'm looking forward to some craft time, as well as a ninth birthday party for the daughter of my sweetie's best friend. I hope all of you have fun plans for the weekend as well!
The project I have to share tonight is another thank you card. I got the Even More Punny-licious stamp set from My Pink Stamper a while back and love all the sentiments in it. When I saw the 'You're scent-sational' sentiment and the cute skunk on the Create A Critter cartridge I knew I had to make a card using both of those eventually, and here it is!
Also, the challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion this week is to create a project (any theme!) but you must use ribbon. I'm submitting this card for their challenge. Be sure to hop on over there and join the fun!!

Scalloped Thank You
Greetings! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! The project I have to share tonight is a thank you card that I made for my parents. I've been having fun exploring different shaped cards lately and found this fun shape on the Wild Card cartridge. I dressed it up a little bit with some i-Rock gems and a couple of Prima flowers. One of my bff's gave me one of the i-Rock templates and I used it to create the swirl. It worked great - especially because I'm pretty sure it wouldn't turn out that nice if I tried to do it freehand!! Simple, but sweet. Thanks for stopping by for a look!

Greetings! I had a great time scrapping with a couple of friends last night and was able to get a few projects completed. The first project I have to share with you today is a creation I made for the challenge going on over at Celebrate the Occasion. The challenge is to create something with a birthday theme, and it must include balloons. I always have a need for birthday cards, so I just needed to find a way to incorporate a balloon. I also wanted to use the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge that I got a while back but have yet to use, and this is what I came up with. Thanks for coming by to take a look!

Lake of the Ozarks
Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. It's a beautiful Saturday here!! I ran a half marathon this morning with a good friend, and in a little bit I'm headed to one of my bff's for a night of scrappin. I can't wait to work on more projects!!
This summer, my sweetie and I went to the Lake of the Ozarks a couple of times. This 2-page layout is from our first trip there this summer, back in June. It was just the two of us and we stayed in one of his aunt's condos. We were there for a weekend, but got lots of time in the pool, on the lake, and even found time for a round of golf. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Colorado 2011
Oh my - September is already nearly over! Where has the time gone?!? I knew it had been a while since I've had some 'me' time scrapping, but now I realize it's been an entire month! I have missed it and am so happy to have found a little time to get back to scrapping! I'm also very excited for this weekend, as I have plans for a scrap night with one of my best friends and a few other ladies. I'm sure it will be a good time and I can't wait to get working on some projects!
On to my project for tonight.... For the past few years, my sweetie and I have gone out to Colorado to visit my brother and his family and spend some time skiing and snowboarding. Back in January, we spent 8 days at Keystone, Breckenridge and A-Basin with my brother, his wife and their daughter. We had a great time boarding, tubing and night-boarding a couple of times. It's a trip we look forward to every year for sure!
There's quite a bit of glare in the pictures - sorry about that! The picture at the bottom right of the left page is a group picture of all of us at Keystone. It's on top of an envelope that I modified by cutting the top flap off of, then slipped in a DVD that my brother put together with a bunch of pictures and videos that we took during our trip. I think it's an easy way to store the DVDs or CDs with pictures, as opposed to putting them on a shelf somewhere! Thanks for stopping by to check out my pages, and I promise to be back again soon!! :)
