Guy Birthday Card

Happy Thursday!  I hope you are all having a good week!

As many of you may already know, I have a hard time with cards for guys.  I recently needed a birthday card for a guy, so I was (of course) stressing a bit.  I decided to search around on Pinterest a bit, and luckily I found a few ideas.  I didn't get the link to the original creator that inspired this card, so I'm sorry I can't share that with you!

This is a Cricut-less card, which is a rarity for me.  I cut the squares and rectangles with my usual paper cutter.  I cut the two circle layers with my EK Success Circle Scissor Pro (a really easy tool to use and very handy to have around too!).  The banner was handcut.

I used a My Pink Stamper sentiment, taping parts off and stamping one word at a time so I could center the sentiment inside the circle.  Some doodling and embossing finish off the card!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Recipe:
Solid cardstock from Recollections
Pattern cardstock from American Crafts Dots and Stripes pad
Zig zag embossing folder
