Cupcake Shaped Card

Happy Friday!!  Today is a great day for me!  It's my last day at my current job then I'm taking a week off before starting a new job.  My new job will be a complete change for me - different industry and different kind of work all together.  I'm excited for this new adventure!

Anyway, on to my project.  :-)  One of my aunts recently had a birthday and I made this cupcake shaped card for her.  I don't make a lot of shaped cards and I don't know why.  I always like the way they turn out, and it's such a change from the standard A2 cards.

I found this cupcake on the Sweet Treats cartridge.  This cartridge has a Card feature, so I didn't even have to do any welding in CCR or on my Gypsy.

I used Diamond Stickles on the dots on the top of the cupcake.  For some reason they look more blue-green in the pictures than they do in real life!  Better work on my lighting for picture taking I guess.  ;-)

I'm going to link this project up to the challenge over at Krafty Girls.  They're having a Shape It Up challenge this week, looking for any shaped cards.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Pattern cardstock from My Mind's Eye Happy Day paper pad

Button from my stash.
