World Card Making Day!

Happy World Card Making Day!!  I hope all of you were able to create some wonderful cards today.  I haven't had time to check out many blogs yet today, but I'm looking forward to browsing around and seeing everyone's creations.

This afternoon, my sweetie and I went to a ninth birthday party.  After my morning run, I came home and put this card together for the birthday girl.  She's not a real girly-girl, so I stayed away from the more 'traditional' girly colors and images.  I also wanted to play around a bit and create something other than just a standard A2 size card.  This is what I came up with - thanks for stopping by for a look!

Recipe:
Cardstock from Bazzill and Recollections
Card base is rectangles from Plantin Schoolbook welded together
Candles from Birthday Bash cut at 2.2 inches
Birthday cake from Smiley Cards cut at 3.5 inches
Bull from Birthday Bash cut at 2.75 inches
Number 9 from Birthday Bash cut at 1.95 inches
Face from Peachy Keen Stamps Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment
Black, white and red Sakura gel pens for detailing
Stickles and glitter
