Birthday Hat Card

Happy Saturday!  Are you all enjoying your weekend?  I certainly am!  I had a nice run this morning with a couple of great friends, then another good girlfriend of mine came over for an afternoon of crafting.  I got a couple of cards made as well as some progress on my wedding album.  Love Saturdays like this one!!

Here is one of the cards I made.....

I'm always in need of birthday cards it seems.  I'm going to link this card up to the challenge over at Krafty Girls.  It's their last challenge of the summer so I wanted to try to participate to show my support and appreciation for them putting the challenges together!  This week's challenge is Anything Goes, so this fits the bill!!  :-)

I found this fun pattern paper not too long ago at my local Target.  I kept this card pretty simple, with just the birthday hat, a couple of buttons, and a little bit of glitter to finish it off.  I wanted those fun papers to be the center of attention!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my creation.  Enjoy your weekend!!

Recipe:
Solid cardstock from Recollections
Pattern cardstock from American Crafts Hip Hip Hooray pad
Birthday Hat from Sweet Treats cut at 4.5 inches
Buttons from my stash
Glitter
