Father's Day Card #2

Happy Friday eve!  This week is going by fast, and I must say, I'm looking forward to the weekend.  Not only is Father's Day this Sunday, but this is US Open weekend - one of the biggest golf tournaments of the year and one of my favorites!!

The card I have to share today is for my father-in-law.  He's very handy and has been so helpful to my sweetie and I for a variety of projects around our house.  He's also a wonderful resource when we need to borrow some tools.  :)  I thought a handy-man themed card would be perfect for him for Father's Day.

I'm going to submit this card in the challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas, where the theme is Father's Day.  Thanks for coming by to take a look and I hope everyone's week is going well!

Handy Man Thank You

Hello everyone!  Hope your weekend is off to a good start.  I enjoyed a long run this morning with some great running partners, came home and went downstairs to whip up a quick card.  This card is for the parents of my sweetie's best friend.  They helped us out with the flooring in our kitchen and family room, and we wanted to make them a thank you card to let them know how much we appreciate everything they did for us.

I actually bought the Handy Man cartridge a few weeks before the tree fell on our house.  It was on sale and I thought the cartridge could come in use for home repair pages, or cards for my sweetie's dad because he helps us out with various repairs on the house as well.  Little did I know just how much use this cartridge would be getting so quickly!!
