St Patrick's Day Card

Good evening!  I know I'm a little early with a St Patrick's Day card already, though it is only a few weeks away.  We got about 10 inches of snow from the storm that passed through here Monday night and Tuesday.  Add that to the snow we got last week and there's nearly 20 inches of snow out there.  We have snow piles at the end of our driveway that are seriously as tall as I am!  I can't remember the last time we got so much snow!!

I'm not used to all this snow and cold weather.  I'm ready for Spring to be here!  I think that was part of my motivation for making this card.  St Patrick's Day means the middle of March, which means Spring and warmer weather!!

This week over at Die Cuttin Divas they're hosting a Tic Tac Toe challenge.  Here is the grid we were given for the challenge:
I had a number of different ideas going through my head when I was trying to decide what to do.  Finally I decided to go horizontally through the middle and use gems, three pattern papers and stitching (faux) on my card.

Thanks for coming by to take a look and here's to warmer weather!!

St Patrick's Day Card

Happy Sunday!  I hope you're all having a fabulous weekend!  I had a great night of crafting with one of my bf's last night.  Actually, it's a grey and rainy day around here today, and since most of my household chores are already done I may spend a bit more time creating today.  Yay!  :)

The card I have to share today is a St. Patrick's Day card.  I have absolutely no Irish in me, and I've never been big into the whole St. Patrick's Day festivities, but it's hard not to want to create cards and get excited about it when there are so many fabulous images on Cricut cartridges!  My card is pretty simple, and I actually made the shamrock a little too big because I didn't leave enough room for my sentiment.  Oops.  Oh well, on the inside it went!

I'm entering this card in to the challenges over at Fantabulous Cricut and Krafty Girls.  The Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week is Luck of the Irish - create a project using a shamrock or the color green.  The challenge over at Krafty Girls is Feelin' Lucky - create a Project with a St. Patrick's Day theme.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
