It's finally Friday! I've been trying to keep myself busy with my sweetie being away on his camping trip this week. I'm so excited to finally have him back home this weekend!!
Last weekend I got together with a good friend and she taught me one of her favorite crafts - crocheting. I had learned to crochet when I was a kid, but it had been years since I've picked up some yarn and a crochet hook. Well, it's safe to say that she has me hooked! I have two scarfs that just need some finishing touches, and I'm giving my first hat a try. I'm going to get together with her again this weekend so she can help me finish up the scarfs - I'm so excited!
I wanted to make a thank you card for her, not only for teaching me yet another fun craft, but also to let her know how much I appreciate her friendship. She likes things with an Asian theme, so I found this flower image on the Pagoda cartridge and used some Bo Bunny paper with an Asian flair.
I'm going to link this card up to the challenge over at Krafty Girls. They are hosting their last challenge for a while, so I wanted to be sure to take part. Thanks for coming by to take a look!
